Talk about podcasts at the University of Oxford

, ,

In November I was invited to a talk at the Oxford Writers’ House. The Oxford Writers’ House is a wonderful organisation at the heart of Oxford. April Elisabeth Pawar is the director and founder. I totally love this organisation, not only because I used to be its former co-director of events, but also because it’s one of the best places for writers I’ve ever seen and one of the best organisations at the current time. The concept behind the organisation is amazing and it’s the product of great ideas coming from a brilliant mind (April). Apart from that, Mariah Whelan (former director) is also a wonderful person and talented poet. When I joined them around 2017, when I moved to Oxford, I can say that I witnessed nothing but greatness. Among the incredible things we’ve done, we’ve met George R R Martín (September 2024). And nowadays, the Oxford Writers’ House still thriving with a new team I had the pleasure of meeting during our talk/workshop.

Coming back to the talk, I was impressed by the ideas shared by the audience/writers, and also by the speakers Patricia Hetherington and Judith Bunting.

Personally, I talked about La Ninfa Eco and how we’ve developed our organisation from the very beginning when we just had a podcast.

I’m always grateful and happy to attend any events organised by one of my favourite organisations. Many thanks Oxford Writers’ House. Especially April.
